Cal was picked to finish 7th in the Pac-10 Media Poll. In order the poll had Oregon first, followed by U$C, Oregon St, Furd, Arizona, Washington, Cal, UCLA, Arizona St and Washington St.
These polls and pretty much all preseason previews really do not mean much in terms of where Cal could end up this year. For example UCLA got a first place vote and I really do not think they have any shot of finishing in first place. Just about any team can win the Pac-10 in the top seven of this poll. What this poll highlights is the depth in the Pac-10 this season.
